On Friday December 14th, students at FES learned about how people around the world celebrate winter holidays. One of the countries students learned about was Germany. A big tradition in Germany is baking and decorating gingerbread. We are so lucky to have a connection with Frederick’s Pastries through our third grade teacher, Ms. Robert. Sue from Frederick’s came to FES with homemade gingerbread and decorating tools for the kids to have some hands on experience like the professionals.
