Team Squirrel had its first morning meeting today. Team Squirrel is made up of our 27 youngest students and their two teachers. Morning meeting is a time to connect to each other first thing in the morning. It is an integral part of transitioning from home to school. Dear FES Families,
Welcome to
the 2019-2020 school year! It’s exciting for me to be entering into my third
year as the principal of FES. I am honored to work in such a supportive
community with amazing students and staff. In addition to our new Kindergarten
students, we also have a couple new families in the district whose children
will be starting at FES this year.
In the spring of 2016, NH Department of Environmental Services issued recommendations for voluntary testing of lead in drinking water at all schools and daycares. This action was in large part a result of lead toxicity to children from the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
On February 8, 2018, Governor Sununu signed Senate Bill 247 Prevention of Childhood Lead Poisoning.

Every year the FES PTO runs a very successful Holiday Fair. It is one of their biggest fundraisers. They are currently looking for donations to the Silent Auction.
